Flowers,
by the armful.

A working flower farm in the Warwick valley. We grow what the season gives us, cut it the morning of, and hand it to you with the dirt still dry.

02 · The farmer

Hi, I'm Katja.

I'm the owner and operator of Winding Waters Flower Farm. I'm a farmer/florist located in the beautiful town of Warwick, NY — which is to say I'm the one who plants it, pulls the weeds around it, cuts it at sunrise, and ties it up on the tailgate.

"I'm always looking for new and exciting opportunities. Let's connect."

If there's a wedding, a market, a workshop, a pop-up, or a porch bouquet you've been dreaming about — I'd love to hear from you. Winding Waters is small on purpose, which means every arrangement has two hands on it (mine).

Subscribe to the season.

The CSA share is the closest thing we have to handing you the field for a few weeks. Real flowers, real weeks, really local.

06 · Notes from the farm

Stray thoughts, between rows.

The small religion of growing flowers you can actually touch, smell, and hand to a neighbor.

Owner-grown, owner-arranged — when you buy a bouquet here, the same hands planted it, cut it, and tied it up.

— From the farm

Warwick soil does a lot of the work. Our job is to not get in its way, and to cut things at the right moment.

— Field note, May

Small on purpose. Two hands, one farmer, a short list of varieties that actually want to live here.
